Dig into the layers upon layers of delicious hop flavor on full display in SuperStratum Double IPA. This Strata-forward hazy DIPA was designed to showcase one of the newest, most exciting hops to hit the brewing scene in years. This phenomenal aroma hop has a stratified character of fruit flavors, both dried and fresh, anchored by a delightful chili-cannabis-funk. With such a low IBU level, your palate will quickly break through the lightly bitter outer crust to reveal a depth of delicious tropical and dank flavors. At its core, SuperStratum is all about its namesake hop, but you'll also uncover additions of Citra® and Galaxy along the way, lending complimentary notes of citrus and grapefruit.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Had it once and it was good

Double IPAs (all-grain) are difficult for me with with my brew kettle size. So, using an extact is the way to go! Plus, good reviews.

Delicious Hazy Fruit Bomb
Outstanding end result, aroma and taste fully of fresh happy mango peach pineapple notes, smooth malty backbone, not off bitterness that sometimes occurs with IPAs. Had 12 of my flavor chemist colleagues taste, they ALL loved the fresh sample I brought in. I used a WLP095 yeast, initial fermentation lagged a little so I added a week later a Lallemand East Coast dry yeast packet. I cold crashed for 3 days before kegging and did a closed transfer into the keg. 3 weeks fermentation plus 1 week carbonation, end result totally worth the input!
