When it comes to temperature control for a homebrew conical fermenter, in-solution cooling coils have long been the answer. It's a simple, relatively inexpensive apparatus that can offer adequate performance in most scenarios, especially for fermenters in the home-level size range. But nothing compares to the performance you get with a jacketed tank. Once again, BrewBuilt looked to professional-level conicals for inspiration and decided it was long overdue for jacketed conicals to be readily available for homebrewers. Circulating cooling solution through the jacket provides your fermenting beer with added insulation from ambient temperatures, allowing for increased cooling capacity in warmer environments and cold crashing after fermentation is complete. The X3 Jacketed Uni also comes standard with the Flex Chamber, Pressure Pack, and neoprene jacket.
