Color and flavor is more than expected. Very pleased with the mash so far. This is the darkest malt I have used to date and am excited to try the final results in a few days.

dark!
I love using this because a little goes a long way to make that orange and red hue that is prevalent in so many good beers - it doesn't add anything for flavor, but it will certainly give you a darker ale

Great Malt
Adds sweetness and complexity to pale ales and works really well in IPA.

Small doses
This caramel malt is great in small doses to add color to darker beers.

Great all around malt
When you need a deep caramel flavor this is the malt for you. I use this in my dark beers for that deep flavor it lends. I like it in stouts, scotch ales, porters and some brown ales.

Good fresh crystal
Way to keep it fresh MoreBeer. When you need 120L crystal you can't go wrong with this stuff.

Mmmm, dark caramel
A nice dark amber coloring, a nice burnt caramel flavor, I use this for scotch ales on a regular basis.
