How do you use Blue rock candy and does it turn the beer blue?
Charles Stahl on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You add it to the end of the boil for a little more sugar and a "raspberry" flavor. This comes in the "Walter Wheat" recipe kit which I have made a few times. Some comments said it didn't add much flavor so I always get an additional pack. It doesn't turn the beer blue, but does add a hint of raspberry. I use Munich Wheat ale yeast with that recipe and it is one of my favorites.

Meh
Haven't used it in beer yet and don't think I will. There's a slight raspberry flavor to the blue coating but mostly it just tastes like boring corn sugar.
