Description

16-19 °L - Weyermann - Abbey Malt® can be used for a wide variety of beers, but most commonly recommended for Abbey ales, Trappist beers, and a full range of Belgian style beers, including lambics and fruited beers. This highly friable base malt has pronounced malty aromas and assertive flavors of honey, nuts, and hints of chocolate. Recommended use up to 50% of your grain bill.

Abbey malt
I used this in 2 beers both Belgian one with be 8 yeast and one with Belgian Abby lallemand if you're going to use abbey malt be careful not to use to much out of 9 1/2 Ibs of grain I used 1 1/2 of abbey still fermenting Coker looks rich

Unique
Basically a sweeter biscuit malt but a bit more complexity. I use it in all my abbey ales. 10% of grist is just about right.
