Most commonly used as a bittering hop, Pacific Gem has a distinctive zing/bite most likely caused by high cohumulone levels. You can also get a taste and aroma of rich blackberries and oak that compliment just about any brew. Try Pacific Gem in a Porter, Strong Ale or Imperial IPA recipe.

Great hop
Nice berry-red wine flavors go well with dark malts and caramel flavors. Have used this hop a number of times and get same flavors.
