Liberty is primarily utilized as an aroma hop. It is an American varietal with German roots as it was specifically bred to resemble Hallertauer Mittlefruh. You can expect that European infused spicy aroma with citrus and lemon flavors that makes a great pick for Pilsners, Bocks, and even Wheat Beers.

Great American Hop
Very Nice! Versatile and pleasant in several styles I have tried it in! Made really nice Kolsch style, excellent in Cream Ale recipe! Nice in American Wheat ale. Liberty also is growing well and producing decent crops here in the hot and humid mid south area I live in, along with Cascade.
