So many beers can't be made without it.
This stuff is one of my favorite malts. I probably over-use it, like some say people do with Caramel malts. But it's got such a rich malty complex flavor that it just works in everything. Even in very small amounts, this stuff adds that something special nothing else can. This is more pronounced and darker than similar European versions, and that's not a bad thing. Take any lager to the next level with this stuff.

Awesome Flavor and Color
I use 0.5 pounds of this with 6.5 pounds of pale ale malt, or about 12.5% of the grain bill. Great color, great malt flavor, excellent conversion. This makes a very nice pale ale.

Great flavor and color
I love this not only for adding round malt flavor and color to my pales and IPAs but as a 100% base malt for Oktoberfests. It gives the most beautiful amber color and malt aroma
