Made this Kit for my wife...
She is a big fan of anything raspberry flavored so I made this for her. I am sure it will be a big hit when it is ready to drink-everything went smoothly on brew day.

Refreshing!
This beer is a great summer brew as it is very refreshing and you can also control how much raspberry flavor you want in it. I will buy again

Great Base Recipe
Excellent base beer for fruit flavorings. I split into several smaller batches before adding a different flavoring to each. Great reviews by all who have tried. Caveat, I did use a lager yeast (Imperial L17 Harvest).

Really Like This One
Added the entire flavoring container at bottling. Love the flavor. Although it's now late fall, I think this is an ideal summer brew,

Great Beer....not totally sold on the blueberry
I brewed this as one of my first all grain brews.

i split this batch up only adding the needed amount as the included raspberry flavoring. The batch without the raspberry was excellent!!!!

the half with the raspberry was ok. this makes a excellent Ale without the flavoring.

Good BIAB starter
This was one of my first Maxi-BIAB attempts coming from extract brewing experience. I add a sparging step, so I do not have to add 10% more grain. Mash at 152-154F for 90 minutes and sparge with 1 gal. 170F water and let drain for 10 minutes. The 24x24" mesh bags they have here work great in my 30 Qt. pot. Berry flavor just right and not overpowering.

Great Beer! Always a crowd pleaser.
I have brewed both the all grain and extract versions of this beer and both always turn out perfect! I have split these batches and used different flavorings to get some variety. I have tried Raspberry (with the kit) apricot, peach, and next I will be doing a blackberry. Guests always enjoy this beer and I have a tough time keeping it in stock. If you are looking for a very drinkable flavored beer I highly recommend this recipe . If you want to kick it up a bit add some Belgian Candy Sugar to the boil. Enjoy!
