Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found below in the "You might Also Need" section.

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

How long will the yeast last in the fridge?
THOMAS FAZIO on Dec 29, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Well, assuming that it is fresh, a fair amount of time. I've had it in the refrigerator for more than three weeks with no problem. Unlike Wyeast, this does not have an inner packet that you have to break open. On the other hand, if it is swollen when you get it, then you would need to use it fairly quickly.

Unclear if it was enough
I had a OG of 1.070. The package said it can be "up to" that. So, I used 1 packet that had been sitting out for 6 hours to room temp.
Wasn't enough to get my beer up to it's FG that would make it an 8% ABV.

Also, confusing is the other text about "11% ABV." So, I just went off of the OG number.
