What size ball valve is provided? Will it work with the H503 Male QD x 1/2" MPT instead of using the 3/8" barb?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Ryan - Yes, it accepts 1/2 MPT, make sure to use some plumbers tape when installing the new fitting.

Leaks a little
It leaks a little. There was no gasket on the outside only on the inside. I’ve never been able to get a deal with just an inside gasket, so maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’d expect a bit of testing in thier end for the price.

Great product and it does a great job
I have been brewing over a year now and mostly did BIAB or extract. Bought this and used it for the first time. Beer turned out great and had no problems with the process.

One of the best investments I've made
I used a bazooka in a chest cooler and always had problems holding my mash temps. I always lost way to much heat. Since purchasing this Mash Tun I hit my temps more constantly and I can hold them temp with ease now.

Great Buy
I decided to build my own mash tun which cost roughly 100 all said and done. The result was a mash tun that would lose 7 to 10 degrees during mashing. So I decided to buy this and I couldn't be more happy. My first all grain batch I hit my temps and didn't lose more than 2 degrees during my mash. Thank you Morebeer for making a quality product.
