The KOMOS V2 Kegerator features upgraded components for faster chilling and more efficient operation. It also has a redesigned interior that fits up to four 5-gallon kegs at one time. This unit represents an amazing value in home draft dispensing. It features a digital controller, stainless steel door, stainless steel floor, rolling casters, robust KOMOS CO2 regulator, and more. This version does not include a tower kit.  Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 2-3" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air.  The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter.  This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter.
What's New in V2?
  • Larger Capacity - Fits up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs
  • Dual Gas Line Inlets - Feed two gas lines at different pressures, or one CO2 and one Nitro.
  • 10% More Energy Efficient
  • 15% Faster Cooling Times
  • 40% Thicker Insulated Walls
  • 25% Larger Condenser
  • 30% Larger Evaporator

The most eye-catching difference between the V2 and the original model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The V2 positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs.

Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. The previous model had one inlet that was only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Now both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE133) as a quick connect option for your gas lines.

Improvements to the condenser, evaporator, and insulation means the KOMOS kegerator is more efficient than ever before. The V2 also features a redesigned internal fan for improved air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines.

Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller that can adjust internal temperatures from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use it for fermentation and is something that other kegerators don't do. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice.
Added Features
One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China.
The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed.

It's..good, but not for the price.
The refrigerator itself is ok, but I don't think it's worth the price.

The capacity is absolutely great. Holds what it says it will.

The tower fan? Terrible. I don't think it's possible for them to get a louder more annoying fan. I can hear it from the next room. It does chill the tower though so that's nice.

Overall noise? Loud. Easily 5 times louder than any converted mini fridge, probably about twice as loud as a converted chest freezer. It has a really off putting gurgling noise while running.

It has what I'm guessing is a relay to switch the power on when needed. Not only is it OBNOXIOUSLY loud, the temperature controller is so sensitive that when it raises a degree past set point it will fire the relay with a very loud click, drop 1 degree (probably just sensor error) and click off again. All withing a span of about 5 seconds. Not only is it annoying I can't imagine it's good for the compressor. I would like to look at the manual to see if there is an adjustment like the basic 20 dollar ebay temp controllers I've programmed to adjust how often the compressor kicks on, but they didn't send a manual.

The other issue is the display. It's Chernobyl reactor melting level bright. Don't put this in a studio apartment you'll never get to sleep. I wanted to look at the manual to see if there are any dimming or a way to turn it off, but again no manual. I'll put some tape over it.

The V2 boasts 15% faster cooling times. I never had the V1, but man, if thats true the V1 must have taken a week to get down to temperature. It's not quick, but it gets there.

DO NOT get this shipped if you don't live near a morebeer. When I originally ordered this fridge, MoreBeer sent out the wrong model. Also, they packaged it so bad it came damaged. My options? Drop it off at FEDEX or return it to store. Generally speaking, the whole ordeal was a pain, and I think morebeers customer service needs some real help.

Great 4 keg kegerator
Very pleased with the Komos V2 Kegerator. Holds 4 kegs has 2 option spots to bring in CO2. Very tight fit to bring hoses up the tower would be only negative comment however well worth the purchase and is a great price.
