Will two of these fit the new dual body regulator model?
Matt Brassel on Mar 22, 2021
BEST ANSWER: The guard does provide protection for the gauges however only two of the three screws can be used to attach the guard. Two screws seem to hold it securely. Also the CO2 tank handle on my tank strikes the guard when turned on and off.
is the KOMOS MK4 CO2 regulator the same as the MK4 KegLand C02 Regulator & will the gauge cage fit either one?
Robert Minke on May 28, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Robert - yes, the gauge cage is compatible with both the KOMOS regulator and Kegland MK4 regulator.

Robust but needed modification
This is built like a tank. 5 stars for that part. However, it was touching the tank valve handle. I used a cutting wheel to remove metal to make it fit. I might dress it up later...but probably not LOL. The edges all around are very sharp. A little file work dulled the edges just fine. I had to take it off again to get a wrench on the DUOtite connector as it was leaking. This is more expensive than the TAPRITE cage which is engineered perfectly for the job and has a nice finish.
If you have a KOMOS regulator, then you need this if you can cut/grind metal.

Built for sledgehammer hits
This thing weighs a ton. Looks like it readily fits the gauges, but I'm just too afraid that the weight will add an unnecessary stress to the regulator assembly. I'll risk a bumps inside the kegerator. Don't know why an aluminum version of this isn't sold - it just needs to prevent hard shocks to the gauges... this thing would survive a sledgehammer hit and not dent... who needs that much steel? Going to return it.

Response from MoreFlavor
Thank you for your review. While we're sorry to hear that the product didn't meet your expectations that is why we have our 60 day satisfaction guarantee, and we are happy to accept returns if something just didn't work out the way you'd hoped.

You're correct that these are heavy duty and we find that very useful in traveling situations where tanks get dropped and regulators do get smashed into with quite some force. We will take your feedback to our products team and see if we can make a nice one for home use that will be lighter but do the trick. Thanks again for the thoughtful review. Cheers!

Seriously strong protector for regulator assembly
While it's a little hard to install over the regulator, it's clearly industrial strength protection for the gauges. Worth the price in my opinion.
