Perfect Upgrade

I wanted to update my analog sounding valve with a digital. This was the perfect replacement part. Product came shipped in a rather large box given it's 1" package size. IMO it could have been shipped in a much smaller pkg.

Very handy to use and easy to install

The units are so small that reading them is a challenge. I will move them from the wall of the fridge closer to the keg so I can rotate for better visibility. Hope it works If not it was a waste of money.

Decent - don't work inside keezer

I got these to replace the default 60 psi gauges that are useless. These are better but not great. They take a second or two to read the pressure which makes it difficult to dial in an exact pressure. Also note that they don't screw into the regulator they just push in. They are really hard to remove if you want to change the orientation and you basically have to pry them out of the regulator body with a screwdriver. Also the display doesn't work when cold so these will not work if you have your regulators mounted inside your keezer.

There are mixed reports whether these work inside kegerators. Is it that they are hard to read when cold or they actually stop working completely?

How do I remove the analog gauge from my V2? I removed the two screws on the gauge side of the V2 but all that I can get off is the black bezel and the integrated clear round window. The analog gauge is held firmly in its place. I don't want to pull on anything I shouldn't!

I used a pair of long thin needle nose pliers and or a nail to get into the holes on the brass back plate. Took a bit of gently wiggling to get is loose. I’ve also used a long wood screw the screw ridges can some times manage to catch under the holes in the brass plate and pry it up. Move from hole to hole wiggling/prying as best you. can it’ll come up. Don’t try grabbing it by the dial it’ll bend ask me how I know.

I don't believe it is servicable or removable. I broke my gauge and just replaced the whole thing. It is not supposed to get wet.

Afraid all I could do was pry up the analog gauge gently with a knife blade under gauge ring. Only bent a little and easily bent back.

Remove the 2 screws and with the tip of them or with some other pointed tool that you can enter through the screw holes and using a little leverage you remove both corners at the same time. You must be firm apply a little force but not too much so as not to break it.

It pulls right out. Use needle nose pilers and grab the center of the gauge by the black indicator arrow thing.

With the two screws removed you should find that it will turn slightly left and right within the confines of its box. Only a rubber grommet around its post is what holds it in place. I was able to lift one side and then the other mounting hole to coax it out of the post hole..

Put back the screws but don’t tighten it; just put in position and then try to join the screws heads and pull it from the heads. This is the best way to remove the analog gauge since it has a o-ring in the back that’s the reason why it is secured in your position.

I did exactly what you are proposing. If you are not planning to use the analog gauge afterwards go ahead and pull on its innards all you want. You will not hurt the BlowTie itself. Otherwise honestly just pull gently.

Can I calibrate this? It reads 4 PSI lower than my three large traditional gauges.

What temperature range will these work in? May keep in freezer

I haven't used it below 34°F and no more than for two weeks. Didn't have any problems. I didn't check out if the cold changes the accuracy in any way.

They won’t work well inside a keezer it will be very hard to read the display
