Simplicity is a near perfect balance of highly fermentable sugars. It is our unique blonde Belgian style Candi Syrup unlike anything available on the market today. Excellent for Saisons, Triples, and Golden Ales. It is readily fermentable and creates a refreshing subtle flavor that is always on the periphery of your palate. Some say it has a faint "citrusy" flavor and others say is has a mild honey palate. Simplicity Candi Syrup™ is much to be preferred over refined sugar due to it's superior fermentability.

One pound of Simplicity will add an estimated SRM of .15L to 6 gallons of wort. This is solely used for increasing the gravity and making a more fermentable wort by adding smaller chains of dissolved sugar.

  • Ingredients: Beet sugar, water

Note: This product may crystallize in cold temperatures. To restore its original consistency, warm the bottle by soaking it, or warm it in a dry environment at 140°F (60°C). Please ensure the product is stored at or above 68°F (20°C).

Whats the shelf life if refrigerated?

BEST ANSWER: Open or closed? I think closed it’s really long even unfefrigerated. It’s jist sugar water basically.

Easy and convenient to use
Added 4 lbs. to an 18 gal. batch of wort for a Belgian Tripel. Fermenting nicely now. Looking forward to drinking another great beer.

Great for Belgian Golden Strong Ale
I brew one batch of Belgian Golden Strong Ale each year and use the Simplicity Clear Candi Syrup. Every year my friends say it is one of the best beers I make and I must agree.

Great stuff easy to use!
I highly recommend this for any of your Belgian beers. It also works great as a kicker for any other type of beers. I just added it straight to the fermenter and good to go.

Qaulity product
The sugar syrups from Candi Syrups make the most authentic Belgian beers. These are really high quality adjuncts and I think they honestly add the desired complexity to the flavor profile. Plus they are really easy to use.

the packaging makes this very easy to use. you are able to get pretty much everything out of the package and into your brew kettle in under a minute. a quality product.

Love this stuff
It's true that you can probably use sugar instead of the clear syrup but I buy this stuff all the time and use it for bottling. It's so easy to just pour some of this in a bottling bucket or for boosting the abv in the fermenter. No heating up and waiting to cool down.

Ease of use!
I've made my own syrups at times but this really is a lot easier then doing that, and the quality is there. I like the flavor I end up with in my saisons its a little more then a plain common syrup. I like these syrups cause they balance fermentability with flavor contribution just about right. And the price is decent

Produces authentic flavors
When I brew my Belgian style ales I prefer to use Candi Syrup because despite being a simple sugar I feel there is a qualitative difference between sugars on the final flavor.
