Description

WLP011 European Ale Yeast is a clean, malty, Northern European-origin ale yeast. Producing little to no sulfur which helps to keep the profile clean. Its low attenuation will provide a balanced beer with an emphasis on the malt rather than the hops. An excellent choice for malty beers! White Labs recommends this strain for Alt, Kolsch, malty English ales, and fruit beers.

used a couple times with good results
I've used this most recently in a 100% smoked wheat Grodziskie with great results. I've also previously used it as the sacch. strain in a berliner weisse.

Quality yeast
yeast perculated the wort perfectly!! little residue at bottom!

Good cool fermenter
Fairly neutral but still present. Works best for me at cooler temperatures (65-68F).

Good Fermenter, Estery and high Follucuation
I have used this yeast several times mainly for larger beers. It has no trouble with high gravity beers.
