The Chugger lineup of pumps represents a great value for an even better price. These pumps are workhorses in the brewery. Featuring a robust flow rate of 7 gpm, and a magnetic drive designed to handle back-pressure, these pumps are a great addition to any brewing setup! The Stainless Steel Chugger showcases their molded Stainless Steel Pump Head. This stainless pump is a steal for the price, and we've been more than happy with the quality! Use this to ease transfers between kettles, cool wort via a counterflow chiller, or recirculate icewater for quicker chilling!

The Chugger pump has 1/2" mpt inlet and outlet, allowing easy configuration for any application! We recommend setting these pumps up with a Ball valve on the outflow side, this way you can throttle down the outgoing flow rate, allowing for more efficient sparges or cooling! The pump head can also be rotated 360° (in 90° intervals) allowing for even more customization!

  • Stainless Steel Pump Head.
  • Food Grade up to 250° F.
  • 1/2" mpt inlet and outlet.
  • High Flow rate of 7 gpm
  • Max Head 18.9 ft
  • 115v 55" cord and plug attached.
  • 50/60 Hz, 1.4 amp
  • 1/20 HP, 3500 RPM
  • No more issues with crossthreading plastic heads or snapping off fittings.

Note: When using silicone tubing, we recommend using a slighlty larger barb than the I.D. of the tubing. This is because silicone tubing tends to have greater pliability than most tubing. For example, when using 1/2" silicone tubing, we recommend our 5/8" barb (H620), to help ensure a better seal!

Great quality!
This product is great quality, I suggest ordering some extra O rings and considering the MoreBeer mounting bracket H357. Love that...

Easy to use pump
Super easy to use! The key is using gravity to your benefit and making sure there’s liquid in the hose when you start.

not excited.
I received a chugger as a gift. It was new , in the box. when I set it up, it leaked. I changed the head with my other chugger and it worked fine. I'm mixed on Chuggers. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine because I was not happy. How did it leak on day one? I even siphoned through the head and it leaked with almost no pressure. Thankfully I purchased this from Morebeer who made it right, like they always do. 5 stars for morebeer and 1 star for my chugger. I also read another review where his pump leaked and he gave it 5 stars after fixing the oring/gasket. If it is new, you should not have to do any repairs at all. I will say that my other chugger kicks ass all the time. so a i will average my stars at 3.

I received a Chugger as a gift. I have another chugger that kicks ass, but my new SS head chugger leaked like a sieve out of the box. I have one day off and wanted to brew after setting up my single tier rig. I was let down. I took it apart, keg lubed it, danced around the May pole and it still leaked. I understand that chugger has amazing customer service but it should work being brand new. If they do me right, I'll give an update. My buddy is bummed for giving me a leaky pump as a gift. I hope I never give anybody a leaky pump. This is as bad as ordering an IPA and getting a cloudy, "juicy", mess.

Great pump! it made the brew day SOOOO easy
I gotta say this pump takes homebrewing to the next level! I used it to brew a DIPA with lots of whirlpool additions and I gotta say I was impressed! It's quiet, great output flow, and easy to use. I used this to re-circulate the mash and pumped water from the HLT to fly sparge. The clarity of the wort into the kettle was the clearest I've ever seen. Whirlpooling was a breeze and then pumped the boiled wort into the conical. It made the brewday a breeze! Great product, highly recommend to any homebrewer who wants to get rid of the gravity stage set-up.

Great pump, great price.
It's solid and it moves liquid uphill.

I only wish it were self-priming.
