Description

Guima Estate is an award-winning and conservation-focused coffee farm run that’s proudly managed by women, including Chief Operating Officer Mariana Caetano Polcaro. Guima is also among the farms that contributes to our Brazil Oberon Ayabas, under the Federação dos Cafés do Cerrado designation of origin program.

Guima also supports community gardening, cultural activities and environmental education programs in its community. It has 90 permanent employees and approximately 200 temporary workers during the harvest season. Coffees are processed on the farm as natural or pulped natural and are dried on patios, raised beds and in drying machines.

Great for a dark roast
I have only roasted these once but I roasted my friend some for Christmas and him and his wife loved them. I did a medium dark roast and it turned out really good. For the price of the bean, this is a good deal. I'm not sure if I will ever go back to buying beans from a store again.
