The Blichmann temperature controller is a simple and easy to use controller for home brewing. Plug it in and start controlling your temps right out of the box! Simply plug your refrigerator or pump into the front and you’re ready to go. This is a direct replacement to the controller found in the Blichmann Fermenator™ Pump & Controller Kit.

Is there a delay or time out timer for the compressor?

BEST ANSWER: No. The temperature controller is a temperature controlled on/off switch for the power to an electrical outlet. If you are in cool mode and the temperature detected by the sensor is higher than you set, then the power to the outlet will be on. If the temperature detected is below the set temperature, then the power to the outlet will be off. The reverse is true for the heating mode. There are no other settings on the controller other than the temperature.
