If your Taprite Regulator is drifting or losing pressure, why not try repairing it rather than replacing? Over time the internal diaphragm can wear out resulting in drifting pressure or a slow leak through the regulator body Refurb your unit with this Regulator Rebuild Kit and return your Taprite regulator to it’s lost glory.
B3 - Please post the instructions included with this kit. Used it to rebuild a model T742HP that was drifting pressure, the current one from B3. It was MUCH easier to do than the posted FAQ which talks about 75 ft lbs of torque.
I bought this kit to rebuild my Taprite CO2 regulator. The label on my regulator says "Series 3740 Compressed Gas Regulator 366M". This regulator was purchased may years ago.
The diaphragm in this kit (52mm I believe) was to large to fit my regulators body, which is 42mm. I was able to cut down the diaphragm in the kit to fit my regulator. The rest of the kit fit perfectly and the regulator now works correctly.
