Description

Faucet shanks allow you to mount a draft faucet just about anywhere. Typically installed in the door or wooden collar of of a converted fridge/freezer, the front of a cooler, or even in your house’s wall when constructing that ultimate home bar!

Once installed your beer line connects to the back of the shank and a faucet attaches to the front. Shanks are available in a range of sizes to accommodate mounting on materials of varying thicknesses.

The shank’s listed size refers to the total length of threaded pipe. Approximately 5/8” are needed to account for the thickness of the finishing collar on the front and the space for the locknut on the back. Please take this into account when sizing the shank for your project.

Features a welded 3/16” barb and includes a glossy black plastic collar and locknut. Requires a 1” hole for installation.

Dimensions:

  • 3-1/8" - Total Length (Tip to Tip)
  • 2-1/2" - Shank Length (Without Nipple)
  • 1-1/8" - Thread Length
  • 1-1/4" - Pass Through Length

Picked up a couple with a lip on the tap connecting end which doesn't fit my faucets. Going to try these. Anybody know what connects to the ones with the lip?

What is it made off? Stainless or brass?
Stephen C on Oct 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Don't believe the other answers like I did, this is chrome plated brass. The exact item I received is from Krome Dispense model C322, right on the box it says "CP Brass." I will be returning because I'm only looking for stainless.
What size is the nut? I am looking to add a 1.5 TC fitting to attach a faucet to my brite tank for serving purposes.
Eric E on Jan 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Eric - The nut is 1.5" on the widest side, and 1.25" on the other side.

A little bit short
3.125" Total Length
2.5" Length Without Nipple
Approximately 5/8” are needed to account for the thickness of the finishing collar on the front and locknut on the back.

If I'm doing my math correctly based on this description, they should measure 1 7/8" thread for pass through. I found them barely able to fit 1 1/2" lumber of my collar. They still worked but I would have liked to at least flush the nut on the back or just past. Just FYI, still a good product and worked for my setup.
