This stainless steel shank collar mounts on your draft beer shank, behind the beer faucet. Not only does this work to complete the look of your kegerator or keezer, but is a necessary piece for insulating it as well!
I got 4 of these for a keezer and standard 7/8 shanks. The shanks come with black plastic collars that fit perfectly and have a lip to fit snug against the collar. The these metal ones don't have the same lip. When you tighten the nut on the shank/ bulkhead to have a secure fit, you want to tighten it real good so your faucet doesn't rotate. The problem is, since there is no lip, the female but on the shank (that attaches to the faucet) pushes into the collar and locks upand gets jammed. Kind of hard to explain but I think the holes is too big. They would probably work better with a 1" shank but as far as I know 7/8" is the standard.
