BEST ANSWER: As far as I can tell it is stainless, works well with my stainless faucet
Will this work with flow control faucets?

BEST ANSWER: This adapter usually does not work with flow control faucets since it does not have the negative space for the flow control mechanism to fully extend.
Can you use an Intertap self closure spring with this?

BEST ANSWER: Andrew - The self closing spring should only be used with Intertap shanks due to the deep recess in them.
