Is there an off position. Where the valve can be totally shut off from any liquid or gas and nothing will flow?

BEST ANSWER: I didn’t end up using this valve but I just took a look at it and it looks like you can have three positions, off, flow through one side, and flow through the other. If you position the handle in the middle both sides looked closed. Enter an answer to this question.

Yes, this is a 3-way, L type.

Left on one side. Centre is off, right is on the other side.

What temperatures can this valve handle? Will it crack if it gets too cold?

BEST ANSWER: Hi. You should not have any temp concern while using SS304 accesories in normal commercial applications. Let´s say 150Cº to -50Cº. I use this for +-0Cº whithout any problems.
