Will this corker work with Belgian beer bottles?
Samuel Pecharka on Oct 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I've bee able to use this corker with the straight wall Belgian corks that I ordered here. There were a couple of issues though. The corks don't just drop into the iris like they will with the Champagne corker; they don't have to be smashed in place, but you have to put them in the jaws on purpose. Probably the biggest limitation is the inability to put a corked bottle back in the corker when adjusting the cork depth. Once the cork has mushroomed at all that's it, you're not getting it back in place. I found that running the stop nut all the way down gave me the perfect seating depth. And I certainly wouldn't use it on anything but the floor when corking Belgian bottles, you need to put a little umpf into it.
how does it work?
robert moeller on Aug 25, 2023
BEST ANSWER: It works just like its floor model bigger brother. The bottle bottom goes on the round spring loaded disk. Press down and slip the bottle neck into the top part. Place a cork in the hole in the top. Pull the lever down. As the handle is pulled down the cork is squeezed smaller in diameter. The handle then pushes the cork into the bottle. The part that compresses the cork is made of plastic not metal like the bigger unit. This will work on a table or the floor. It is easier to store than the bigger floor only model. This unit can handle the bigger diameter corks used when storing wine beyond a year. The hand corker cannot do this.
Is there a beer bottle capper attachment that works with this corker?
Sam Wright on Dec 17, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Not that I'm aware of, and based on how this machine operates, I'm not sure how such an adapter would function.
Will it handle #7-#9 corks?
Mayne Mihacsi on Oct 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mayne, yes it will!
Will this handle T corks?
John M Keeley on Jul 25, 2023
BEST ANSWER: This unit will not handle T corks. This is designed to squeeze the corks before inserting them into the bottles, so it can be used only with standard corks that are compressed and inserted entirely into the bottles.
Is there sufficient adjustment to handle smaller 375 and 500 ml bottles?
Andrew Chaney on Sep 23, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Yes it handles any size bottle automatically due to the spring loaded bottle support.

This thing is a beast
The picture doesn't do justice to this thing. It is larger than I expected and very solid and well made. It will last a lifetime.

good concept - poor manufacturing
I can see how this corker would work well if they had quality control. this thing is out of align, will not center cork on bottle. with no way to adjust it and not instructions.

Easy and Quick Belgian Bottle Corking Device
Perfect for bottling Belgian bottles. Works with 375ml bottles, too, with some padding at the base, like a rubber stopper.

WELL worth the money!
Bought this because I was tired of using the double lever corker and I couldn't be happier. Super easy one handed operation let me zip through a case of wine bottles nearly as fast as I could switch them out. Buy one. You won't be sorry.
