The new Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator from KegLand represents a huge jump forward in the mini regulator market. After much feedback on how to make mini regulators more compact, sturdy and efficient, the brilliant engineers at KegLand have come up with this mini-beast.

The analog gauge is removable and can be swapped out with a gauge of a different pressure range or it can be swapped out for the Digital Mini Pressure Gauge.

Heavy Duty Construction
Starting with the body of the regulator, this unit is made from chrome-plated solid cast brass which means it will stand up to quite a bit of abuse. Unlike most mini regulators, the pressure gauge on the Core 360 is safely recessed in the regulator body, so if you ever drop it there is little chance that you'll damage the gauge. What's more, the gauge is removable, so you can swap it out with another mini gauge with a pressure range that better suits your application.

Unique Cartridge Connection
What really sets this unit apart from other mini regulators is the way in which you insert a CO2 cartridge. A common complaint with these types of regulators is that you can lose a lot of gas from the cartridge just from threading it into the regulator. There's that brief period where the cartridge has been punctured but you haven't fully threaded it into the regulator to form a seal. If you're not quick enough, this can result in a significant amount of lost gas. The Core 360 has a unique design feature where inserting the cartridge is a 2-step process. First you fully thread in the cartridge so it forms a seal before it's opened, and then you screw down the actuator pin to release gas into the regulator. Simple and effective.

Furthermore, the Core 360 Mini Regulator is designed to be compatible with both 16g and 74g cartridges. Out of the box it will be ready to accept 16-gram 3/8"-24 UNF threaded cartridges. But with a simple adapter you can switch to 74-gram 5/8"-18 UNF threaded cartridges.

Interchangeable Gas Outlet
Another feature we haven't seen before on a mini regulator is the interchangeable gas outlet. You can use the swivel nut connection to directly attach the regulator to a flare ball lock disconnect, or you can swap to the 6.5mm Duotight-compatible barb and connect draft tubing. This is a great option if you want to dispense a commercial keg without the need of a ball lock to sanke coupler adapter.

The regulator also has two outlet options at either a 45° or 90° angle which makes this the ideal mini regulator regardless of whether you use plastic or stainless steel ball lock disconnects.

SodaStream Compatible
If you remove the 16g cartridge bushing, you'll find TR21-4 female threads for use with SodaStream gas cylinders. These can be a great option for mobile dispensing as they provide much more gas than a CO2 cartridge and are more easily transported than a full CO2 tank.

Includes:

  • KegLand Core 360 Mini Regulator
  • 6.5mm Duotight-compatible hose barb
  • Female Flare Fitting for MFL Disconnects
  • Port end cap
  • 65psi Green PRV
  • SodaStream to 16g thread bushing

KegLand Part Number: KL20404

Warning: Do not overtighten onto your cylinder. It is recommended that you use a spanner to hold the neck of your SodaStream cylinder while attaching and detaching the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Duotight Gas In Ball Lock should be able to lock onto the 6.5 mm Duotight-compatible hose barb that's on the KegLand Core 360 Mini Regulator.

Great design, poorly constructed.
I've had this regulator for less than a month, and I was really loving it at first. The swiveling connection that can me moved from the front to the side to provide the optimal angle for the given application is really nice.
But today when I went to switch out SodaStream CO2 canisters, I couldn't get the screw down pin to depress. The knob does not have a mechanical connection to the shaft. It's a smooth round pin seated in a hole in the knob, and it must be either press fit or soldered. But mine spun loose and I can't see any sign of solder or any adhesive that was holding it together.
Also, I was a little concerned that the black knob that's used to adjust the CO2 flow was a little "crunchy". Since it was broke anyway, I removed the 2 very small set screws holding the knob down to investigate. Inside the threads were packed with filthy grease that is full of what looks like a mix or hair, plastic and metal shavings. This would be an easy fix, but seems to indicate a further lack of quality assembly.
If not for these issues, this would be a 5 star product.
Contaminated grease and threads.
Knob and shaft with no mechanical connection, solder or adhesive.

Good quality, solid, works
I had a much cheaper plastic regulator that did not use the screw-in cartridges. It leaked all the time, broke. This one is really solid and controllable. I have used partial cartridges and then left them connected for a month, no leakage. My only complaint is that the guage is not sealed. Water gets inside and makes a mess. I am going to try sealing it up with some silicone sealant.

Good with sodastream, unusable with 16 gram cartridges.
Works great with sodastream bottle, doesn't work with 16 gram cartridges. I've tried several brands. The threads would need to be slightly longer to be able to seal against the washer; as it is, they just barely thread all the way through and almost touch the seal. Pretty disappointing as this was my main intended usage and I had planned on buying 2 more. Maybe I can get an additional washer to help it seal, or grind out some material on the outside of the threaded portion to allow the little cartridges to fit all the way in but I don't really want to have to do that. Again, works really nicely with the sodastream bottle- if using on a 5 gallon keg that's perfect. Hoping the promised 5/8 adapter is eventually available and that it works more correctly but not sure it's gonna be worth my money to find out since this one doesn't deliver as promised.

Ok. Not sure if it’s really better than the cheaper ones.
I was expecting a little more quality given the price. The pressure adjustment knob is low quality and grinds a bit when turning. Still giving a a few more rounds of usage…

Leaks
Unable to get this to work. Every16g cartridge I've tried leaks badly, and I've wasted several after trying. I even tried some Teflon tape around the threads. For the cost and time spent waiting on delivery I'm very disappointed in this.

Cheap knobs break rendering regulator useless.
There is a fatal design flaw with these regulators. The plastic knobs are held in place by two opposing set screws whose holes are too close to the plastic's edge. I had one break and they ended up sending me a whole new regulator as they don't stock replacement knobs. The replacement arrived and it shows a crack at one of the set screws without ever having been used. It appears as though the holes for the set screw are drilled after the knob is manufactured. These knobs should be made of metal, IMO. Still awaiting an adequate resolution to my issue.

First co2 cartridge regulator of any kind that actually works and doesn't just wastes your co2. Me and family have 3 of them in regular service with no problems yet.

# 1 mini regulator on the market!
I Kegged home brew from the start in 2018 with soda stream CO2 bottles. This Kegland Core 360 Mini regulator with the USA ???? soda stream thread is wonderful. I would get gangly adapters to make the connections. It was a nightmare! Who knows what size the threads are???

Nice upgrade
Nice upgrade to the typical sodastream/cartridge regulator. Well-built and adaptable. This thing can take some punishment. No loss of gas when connecting to cylinder. Can also be used on two kegs at once.
