I am hoping this will solve all the worlds problems

It appears the QD females can lose the O-ring when in use. Need to have extras is a good idea.

They don't last forever, so I need more.

What is the o-ring size for a replacement Gasket for the Female Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect?
Art Hoffman on Apr 4, 2021
BEST ANSWER: IIRC, I ordered a bag from McMaster item 1283N56 that works well with the QDs. ID is 5/8", OD is 13/16" (or .612" and .818").
Replaced all my gaskets and now they won’t connect to my make disconnects. They appear to fit properly and just don’t work. Could they be slightly to large?
Danny Woolstenhulme on Sep 23, 2022
BEST ANSWER: When you seat the gasket and insert the male are you having to pull the female outer part to lock? Or is it like you said the gasket is slightly large and you can’t close it? If the female connection is dirty it will also cause the locking balls to stick. A little star San or 70/30 in the female connection might work
