Awful!!!
If I could give a 0 star I would!!!! This yeast stinks so bad and I had to dump $2000 worth of beer down the drain!
The beer taste like rotting fish

Great Pitch
Vacuum pack was well sealed and everything look fresh. Ferment took off quickly and finished in the expected time with a great/low FG.

Great dry yeast
My Belgian Ale is fantastic thanks to this yeast.
I can't order live yeast during the summer. I rehydrated this yeast and made a starter with the Propper Starter

Great Saison Yeast
Made a 2-liter starter for a 6-gallon batch. Started quickly and fermented to a nice dry finish in about 8 days in warm ambient temperatures. Resultant beer cleared well after two weeks with a bit of Bio-Fine. This is a nice dry, drinkable saison.

My "Go To" yeast.
Love this yeast, it's a no-fail beast of a yeast that works with a variety of grain bills and temps. I'm no style purist, so I tend to use it for all types of dark and light ales.

First Saison, Great Results
Used this in a 5 gal. batch. 100% Dingmans Pilsner Malt, low & slow beta sach rest + mashout. 90 min. boil w/ magnum at 90, 1 oz EKG at 10 and 1 oz EKG 0. OG 1.050, FG 1.002, 20 IBU, 6.6% ABV including 6 oz priming sugar (dextrose.) Chilled wort to 70F, pitched 1 package rehydrated Belle Saison, ambient temp stayed at about 78-85F through out fermentation. Dropped to 1.008 in 2 days, and down to 1.002 after 4.5 weeks total in in primary. Took 3 weeks in the bottle to get full carb. Flavor and aroma was great. Pineapple and bubblegum when young, Red apple, green apple, lemon, banana, and alcohol after maturation. Slightly tart and a bit of odd vitaminy herbal flavor, I think from the hops. Scored a 34.5/50 in a local BJCP sanctioned competition, judges said it wasn't dry enough. Obviously FG was pretty low so I think IBUS and SO4/CL ratio need to be higher. Definitely recommended!!!
