Description

Amarillo® hops have become super popular with microbrewers. Brewers are describing the flavor and aroma as a supercharged version of Cascade. Floral, tropical, and citrus (lemon, orange and grapefruit) characteristics. However, it has a distinctive Orange character to it that is very different from Cascade. Supply has been very limited the last few years so make sure to buy some while it is available.

Whole cone hops are typically the preffered format for dry hopping as they maintain contact with the beer by floating, they are easier to remove than pellets and they add a unique character to the beer. Adding whole cone hops directly to the mash tun is also a great way to add flavor and clarify your wort.

Must buy/great buy!
These hops are amazing! I’m new to beer making. So decided to use the Amarillo whole hops in my kombucha 2nd fermentation. It’s absolutely delicious ??. It’s my new favorite . You will not be disappointed. CeCe, MoVal, CA
