For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Great yeast
I used this in DIPA and it finished out at 1.015/9% ABV. Wasn't boosy in the least bit. Brought it to my HBC tasting and it was huge hit. So far probably my favorite strain to use for IPA's.

Great yeast with unique silk mouthfeel
I love use this strain to brew my ale, especially English ones. When using this yeast I don't have to increase the crystal grain to get the similar results. In fact this one help me to get a 2nd place in Northern English Brown in a homebrew competition held in LA, California in 2014.

This is a lively one!
I got this yeast to use in a Denny''s RyePA recipe as it looks to be his house strain. Every single Smack-pack for this yeast that was in the fridge felt like it already started to produce CO2. This should have given me an indication of what was to come. 12 hours after pitch the fermentation was really going with kraussen all the way up the neck of the carboy. I had to add a blow-off tube to keep it from clogging up the air-lock. The fermentation kept going at that pace for 5 more days. The beer finished a couple points under what I expected but still a very good beer.

This fermentation behavior I've seen on every other brew I ferment with this yeast. Now I know to give it a little more head-room in the fermentation chamber than I think I should and things go fine.

It makes really nice IPAs but, also ferments clean at lower temperatures.

Used for a lot of different brews...
...And each has come out great. It starts slower and takes a little more time to clear, in my experience, but fully attenuates and gives great flavor contribution.

Can't go wrong!

It is a great yeast!
I use this yeast for pale and brown ales. It ferments down to a soft, almost velvety finish. You can even use it to make an "ale-pilsner." A novice would not know the difference.

Try Swapping Out Your House Yeast
So versatile! This yeast gets out of the way of hops but leaves a bit more slickness than American ale strains. Its a trooper: use slurry from a previous batch to ferment Imperial IPA, RIS or Barleywine.
