Description

You guessed it, this makes excellent Oktoberfest style lagers!  Brew in March and lager until September if you want to be super legit.  Brew a batch for your oktoberfest bash or to have on tap year round!

This blend of lager strains is designed to produce a rich, malty, complex and full bodied Octoberfest style beer. It attenuates well while leaving plenty of malt character and mouthfeel. This strain is low in sulfur production.

Flocculation: medium-low
Attenuation: 73-77%
Temperature Range: 48-58° F (9-14° C)
Alcohol Tolerance: approximately 9% ABV

Deadfest
It was the correct yeast i was looking for but the cells were dead on arrival. The hike from Cali to Va. was not good for the liquid yeast

Ferocious Fermentation
I pitched the 2633 yesterday evening into an Oktoberfest I'm making for later this year, and the fermentation activity is off the charts. Wow. I made a 1L yeast starter so I'm sure this helped. I let the primary sit overnight at 65F to make sure it had a healthy start and now I have it at 50F. So far, I am very happy with this yeast. It also doesn't have a very sulfury smell, double bonus.
