Easy Cleaning and Maintenance:

• For optimal cleaning, circulate hot PBW for a minimum 5-minute contact time. Alternate flow direction for thorough cleaning, and rinse with water at the same temperature.

Important Care Instructions:

• Avoid Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can degrade the PEX tubing.

• No Acidic Cleaners: Do not store with StarSan or other acidic products, as they can damage the copper.

What is PEX?

• PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) is a flexible, durable plastic tubing used as a reliable alternative to traditional copper or steel plumbing.

Choose Your Fittings:

• The Red Reaper comes with bare, 3/8" barbs that you can simply clamp your tubing onto. However, we recommend using 9.5mm Duotight x 1/2" male thread adapters which will allow you to convert to your preferred fittings for the water and wort lines -- Camlock, Garden Hose, Tri-Clamp, Quick Disconnect (QD), etc.
