Description

WLP017 Whitbread II Ale Yeast offers traditional British character, a touch of fruitiness with just a hint of sulfur. Traditionally WLP017 is used for English style ales including milds, bitters, porters, and English stouts. Also great for Blonde Ales, English IPAs, Oatmeal Stouts, and Sweet Stouts.

  • Optimum Fermentation Temp: 66–70°F
  • Flocculation: High
  • Attenuation: 67–73%
  • Alcohol Tolerance: Medium (5–10%)
  • Cell Count: 100+ Billion
  • Seasonal Availability: Platinum Strain available March–April or as long as supplies last available
