Description

Stop stirring your wort with a spoon and allow the BrewZilla's internal pump to do the work with this new Whirlpool Arm accessory. Fits all sizes of BrewZilla. The whirlpool arm fits onto the existing recirculation pipe with a stainless steel male camlock fitting. The BrewZilla's internal magnetic pump will aid in circulating your wort for better hop extraction in the whirlpool stage, as well as help collect the hot break into the center of the false bottom. Whirlpooling while cooling with the immersion heat exchanger will also speed up chilling times.

Would this work with a Grainfather that has been converted to camlock pipework? What is the distance between the camlock fitting and the downpipe?

BEST ANSWER: From bottom of whirlpool arm to apex of pipe is about 20 inches. Then apex curves down to camlock fitting about 4 1/2 inches. I use on robobrew 2.0 with a Removable camlock hose in between for flexibility of my setup

Hello: ¿ can the male camlock be unscrewed and replaced by a "stainless steell quick disconnect male QDx1/2in.FPT"? (item #H503D). I cannot see whether the Whirlpool Arm has a 1/2 male thread in its male camlock attachment...

BEST ANSWER: Hola! If I understand your question correctly. The whirlpool arm that I picked up cannot be removed as the male camlock is welded to the stainless arm. I hope this help.

Worthwhile addition
Solid accessory for the Brewzilla. I'd seen some online reviews claiming it didn't produce much if any whirlpool without mods, but on my 35L without mods, it seems to do fine.

Brewzilla whirlpool arm.
Takes a lot of the effort out of whirlpooling the wort when getting ready to cool it down with the therminator. This insures that your transfer temperature is stable for fermentation transfers.

Good for the 35 l, not for the 65.
Solid stainless steel. Good construction. And it did not work for the 65 l

The device is too short and if you use pellet hops it cannot get enough swirl due to the screen at the bottom of the pot. Would probably work perfectly with leaf hops, but I haven't tried leaf hops yet.

Works well for a small cost
Had planned to use this on the new Brewzilla gen 4, but they aren't shipping yet. However, this fit my old Klarstien all in one almost perfectly. Same coupler size and worked just fine.

Great quality
Beautifully made product that works well. I just wish the Brewzilla pump had a little more oomph to get the whirlpool going. I gently stirred the hot wort with a brew spoon to get it spinning, then I used the whirlpool arm to keep it going long enough to form a good trub mound.
