Description

Give yourself peace of mind with this Reinforced Vinyl Brewing Tubing!

This 1/2" Reinforced Vinyl Tubing is FDA approved, food grade, rated to 158 degrees F, and 200 PSI. It is the perfect tubing to use in your homebrewery with our pumps, or anywhere you want the extra security that your tubing will not kink or burst. This type of tubing is essential when putting back pressure on a system. Standard vinyl tubing and silicone are great for their own purposes, but are not designed to handle pressure, and can balloon up or explode if too much pressure is used.

1/2" ID and 3/4" OD

I prefer the reinforced tube when I am dealing with hot liquid. It is very strong and does a great job. It is also easy to handle.

I'm thinking you would not use this hose for transferring hot wort at near boiling temps?
Wayne Tilley on Jun 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We do not recommend this tubing for any application over 150 degrees. The tubing will melt and that is dangerous. For high temperatures we recommend our Silicone tubing (H985) and for high temp and high pressure our reinforced silicone (TUB122) is the one you will want. The silicone tubing lasts years and safety is always worth the extra expense.

Same manufacturer as our brewery hoses. Used as a sight glass on 10bbl brite tank. No odor, holds pressure and withstands cip nitric acid cleaning cycles.

We use it for commercial brewing purposes and it works very well especially for high temperature use. It works very well.
