3/16" is the best size for most beer lines under 9' in length. Ideally, 6' provides the correct restriction for serving beer in the 8-14 psi range.

Technical Specifications: 3/16" line provides 2.2 lbs of restriction per foot. Ideally pounds of resistance should equal pounds of applied pressure. 3/16" line holds 1/6 of an ounce per foot. PVC Free. 7/16" OD

"By the Foot" quantity ordered will be shipped as a single uncut length.

Christopher S L on Jan 15, 2020
Just got my tubing installed in a new keezer with the intertap flow control faucets. I'm having a lot of foaming issues and I can't dial my system in. The lines are all ten feet. I've tried low pressure at 5psi and high pressure at 20psi. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Can I use this as gas line?
Zac Evans on Jul 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It’s primarily used as a liquid line. The internal diameter of the tubing dictates if it has the capacity to hold a gas under pressure. Most liquid lines don’t possess this. I would just order gas line to be safe. You don’t want to wake up with an even worse headache. If you’re in a pinch at the moment and need it “now” then I’d go to a local shop if possible.
What is the OD of this hose? Thanks!
Daniel Breen on Mar 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Daniel - Item information can be found toward the bottom of the product's web page. 'Technical Specifications: 3/16" line provides 2.2 lbs of restriction per foot. Ideally pounds of resistance should equal pounds of applied pressure. 3/16" line holds 1/6 of an ounce per foot. PVC Free. 7/16" OD'
Does it leach the silver into the beer over the 528.34 gals of it's antimicrobial life? After the first 528 gallons should the line be replaced?
Jason Wagner on Jul 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jason - TUB400 offers extremely low leachables, after the 2000 liters of beer, it's likely the antimicrobial begins to degrade. Replacement is up to the consumer and preventative maintenance practices.
I have read that the beer line calculators aren't accurate with this. I have 6' lines on my kegerator now at 14psi and 38°F. I still have foaming issues. I read you have to double what the calculators say with this line? Is this true?
Dan Blum on Jun 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For such a short draw, sometimes calculators can be inaccurate. Better suited for 20+ feet. Try lowering to a serving pressure below 10psi.

Aroma / Taste Pungent
I purchased this tubing and ever since installation, there has been a very pungent odor that has, and continues to, leech into my beer.

Very flexible and good quality. It does not totally prevent microbial growth. You still need to run cleaner through the lines.

A bit stiff, but overall what you would expect.
Not sure about the antimicrobial but, I have one empty line with no signs of growth of bacteria/mold. The line is a bit stiff and will crease if you bend it. Do not heat it for long if you are trying to put it over a larger barb fitting. Overall it is a good product.

Replaced my beer lines
When I read how this was tested in Germany in the product description, I thought, why not? No magic to installing beer lines. No magic in a great beer taste if you clean your lines periodically and replace on occasion. Mmmmm beeeer.

Heat sensitive
I just finished replacing my old plastic beer lines with this hose. What I found is that you need to be very careful when heating the hose. My old hose needed to be placed in boiling water for 30 seconds before it would stretch over the beer shank. With this hose , after 30 seconds the hose got so soft it almost melted and I had to cut it off and start again. Just a few seconds seems to be enough to allow the hose to stretch over the shank. Other then the above, the hose so far seems great. I'll know more after I have passed a few kegs through it.
