MoreBeer!'s Patent Pending sparge arm design is the perfect addition to almost any all grain setup! This sparge arm assembly is made completely of stainless steel and silicone, and has two adjustment points. One of these will help to hold the sparge arm against your kettle, while the other allows you to move the sparge arm up or down inside the kettle to accommodate different amounts of grain. These adjustment knobs are very easy to hand tighten and loosen, meaning no tools are necessary. Excellent for sparging as well as recirculating your mash in a RIMS or HERMS system!

To use, simply install on your kettle wall, tighten down the red stopper to hold the sparge arm in place, adjust the height of the bottom disc to be right above your grain bed but below the mash tun's water level, and adjust the flow level using the included ball valve. This unit will not include a barb or quick disconnect on the inlet of the ball valve, as every brewery is different. Please choose an inlet attachment from the sparge arms recommended items. Note - This sparge arm will not fit on most coolers. Make sure to check out the video in the video tab below.

Features

  • 100% stainless and silicone construction
  • Two adjustment knobs make it extremely universal
  • Included ball valve allows you to increase or decrease the flow rate during sparge or recirculation
  • Included check ball will prevent back flow
  • Can adjust from the top of your kettle to 12-13 inches down into your kettle
  • A single, large diameter outlet port trickles onto a stainless disc, which distributes sparge water gently and evenly. This port is also much easier to flush out and keep clean than many other sparge assemblies with multiple small holes that grain gets stuck in during recirculation
  • Stainless tube measures 18.5" from the top to the bend, and 8.5" from the bottom to the center of the distribution disc.
  • Can be mounted on a lip that is up to 7/8" wide
  • Has a 1/2" FPT ball valve

I have a 20 gallon mash tun, will this reach the center of the pot?
Michael Brierley on Dec 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I use a 20 gallon Blichmann Boilermaker for mashing, and it works fine. I use this for recirculating the mash - I keep the top of the outlet below the level of the mash. When it's time to sparge, I raise it above the level of the mash. It's adjustable to pretty much any level you would need. If you're going to use it for both recirculation and sparging, I recommend a quick disconnect at the valve to facilitate switching lines. I have been homebrewing for for over 25 years, and this by far the best recirculation/sparge device I have used. Over the years I used a spinning sparger, various homemade devices using copper tubing with drilled-in holes, and the Blichmann Auto-Sparge. The Blichmann device was OK, but I found the automatic feature a hindrance at times. I'm glad I made the switch.
Will this work with my 10 gallon brew built mash tun? It looks like it is made for a much larger diameter pot???
Philip Mountain on Aug 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It does work with a 10 gallon brew built mash tun, but the sparge will be offset to the side, rather than in the middle of the pot.

Solid addition to the brewery
The ultimate sparge arm is a great addition to my brewery and was simple to use.. build quality is great. Would recommend this to anyone considering a sparge arm setup. I utilize 20 gallon Blichmann kettles and the sparge arm fits perfectly.

Perfect sparge and easy to set up and use.
This was a perfect fit for our brewing day. We used it for circulation and sparging. This unit is obvious quality and worth the money. It’s definitely one of the best pieces of brewing equipment we own.
The Perfect solution for circulating the wort, keeping the temperature at target easily.

Very robust design - easy to use.
Constructed very well and the features are nice. Awkward to store when not being used. There’s a lot less expensive ways to sparge, but this one looks pretty sharp on your system.

Only okay
Brewed with the unit twice now and although I like the idea of it, it is overpriced for the functionality. There are considerably more and cheaper options to get the same job done.
Purchased for my horizontal keggle system because I didn't want to drill more holes in my tun.
My sparge arm has a slightly warped plate that doesn't allow for level dispersement of water. This probably would be less noticeable if it mounted to a keggle better. Ihave not experienced channeling issues because of it but given the price I'd expect a higher quality.

Works great with malted rice and malted millet
Works great for recirculating gluten free grains. The inside of the tube has no restrictions so it is easy for the smaller milled gf grains to pass through without getting stuck.
