The first impression is classic English hop. This is followed by some interesting fruity flavors. My new favorite English hop.

Great UK Aroma Use Hop
Ive been using Archer as a late addition(10 min or less) and as a dryhop for my English style bitter and IPAs. The hop has a very nice but delicate and light peachy stone fruit and orange marmalade quality that i find more enticing than the standard EKG type hops. Archer can definitely can be used as a stand alone in the right quantity for a pale ale and but would benefit from some supporting players in a more robust, maltier brew.

A surprisingly good hop
This hop is dirt-cheap and it's a steal at the price. It has lovely apricot and marmalade notes that lend themselves well to every kind of British-style ale. I made a British Golden Ale with it that is just heavenly. You've got little to lose and much to gain from trying this delightful hop.

Archer Pellet Hop
This hop would only be good in a beer where you want the hops to be mute. Has very little flavors or bitterness. I used it in an English amber, both in early and late additions, and could not tell if I had put hops in the beer.

A nice floral hop
Good aroma. But remember it is british, so it isn't the OOOMPH the new fun american finishing hops give you. But definitely more pronounced than traditional british hops. Give it a shot.
