Set your sights on a brand new Torpedo Keg! The patented, sleek all-stainless design represents a new era of homebrew kegs. With features like welded stainless handles, the ability to stack with fittings in place, amazing quality and a great price we think these kegs will become the standard by which other kegs are measured.

Quality First
The first thing we at MoreBeer! check out is interior welds. We've spent a decade rejecting kegs made overseas because the interior welds have never met our standards. If a weld is not perfect and shows evident burn marks along with nooks and crannies it cannot be sanitized effectively. Torpedo kegs are machine welded and exceed our standards for quality. The weld quality is possible because these kegs made by an ISO certified commercial keg manufacturer.

Cool Features
Torpedo Kegs were designed to stack with Ball Lock quick disconnects in place and serving which is a cool feature for some brewers who have vertical space in their refrigerator. We also like the rolled stainless steel handles. They are comfortable to grab and will never come off like some rubber handles can over time. In and Out is etched near the keg posts for easy identification which is very handy when you are connecting lines in a refrigerator or kegerator and trying not to make a mistake.

Overall for the price and quality, along with free shipping from MoreBeer!, the Torpedo Keg is an amazing value!

My common scale is 10 litter, so this size is suitable. Also, Torpedo keg that is composed of all stainless is my reason.
Tomohiro S on Nov 17, 2018
I typically brew 13 plus gallons at a time and split the batches so I can ferment with two different yeasts. Then when I transfer to my corny kegs I take part from each fermenter and combine to make a third blended beer. The torpedo keg saves me the time of bottling the blended version.

To be able to store to types of beer. Eventually will purchase a third.

Do u need an adapter to hook up to a normal kegerator if so what is it called?
Matt Mcdonald on May 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If your kegerator is fitted with a commercial sanke tap, then yes. They require Ball Lock disconnects. These should match up with your existing hosing if so.

Are these kegs shipped with any type of protective packaging? I have seen several reviews saying that people received them with scratches and dents.
Gerrod McKnight on Feb 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they are packaged in a plastic liner and then put inside of a box.

I think the torpedo kegs are better than any other keg I've seen. Very sleek, stackable, the parts all work and can be removed with ease for cleaning.

2.5g kegs
Love these all stainless kegs. I’ve been splitting my 5g into two 2.5gs and these fit the bill perfectly. Definitely need keg lube, but any keg does.

They look like a keg; it’s a cool novelty, but the handles get in the way of cleaning and prepping. Probable wouldn’t buy them again.

Great product, poor packaging
Great keg. Worth the price. My only criticism is it came boxed in a single tight fitting box with inadequate crush space and no internal packing materials. So my keg arrived with a large dent. Shipping company's handle packages roughly and the way it is packaged makes it prone to damage. Still holds pressure fine and i'm sure i'd dent it after first use anyway, so wasn't worth reporting. 5-star product given 4-stars due to packaging. Customers should expect used kegs to be fairly banged up but new kegs should arrive flawless.

NOT a good keg
I really wanted to love these kegs, really. I just can't recommend them to any brewer that doesn't want problems. First and foremost, they are difficult to seat the cap and I have lost a few co2 bottles to this design error. Second, they are a pain to tap, the connectors always seem to be just a tad too fat. Finally, they are just too thin on the metal construction and get dinged too easily. I am very careful with my equipment and these kegs look like they have been stomped by a linebacker after six months. My Italian kegs perform so much better and look great after a decade of use. Do yourself a favor and skip this keg.Write your review here. It must be at least 20 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

I’m still not sure if I like these. I want to like them, but the made in China sure shows through. On both my kegs, the legs for the lid are just far enough over to interfere with either the gas or liquid BL connectors when I attach them. I also don’t care for the O-ring on the posts because it makes it hard to get the BL connectors on. The lip around the opening could be smoother, but I haven’t sliced myself open like others have. Overall I’d say these are good enough, but I’m not going to say they are the best thing ever made for holding beer.
