Summit hops are a newer American varietal with both bittering and aromatic characteristics. A super high alpha acid content and bright, citrus nose of tangerine and orange make Summit perfect for American Ales like IPAs, DIPAs, and Pale Ales. Although typically used for bittering, get the most out of this hop's aromatics by using Summit in the dry hopping process.
