French Stisselspalt is widely regarded as a pleasant aroma hop, similar to Hersbrucker in nature. Low in alpha acid and co-humulone, this hop is typically used for aroma where noble-hop character is desired. Excellent when used in traditional european lagers and light ales. The hop is described as having medium intense aromas that are spicy, citrusy, floral, fruity and herbal.
