Description
This is a must have for any home brewer! No rinse, no worries, no contaminations!
 
Star San is an acid based sanitizer that is quick, odorless, tasteless, and safe for most materials except softer metals. As a high foamer, it’s foaming action ensures coverage and contact time in larger vessels and better penetration into nooks and crannys. Any foam that is left over in your carboy or keg will not harm your beer or you. If you plan on making some up for spray application, it is best to use distilled or RO water to maximize the life of the unused portion (minerals in tap water reduce the shelf life of Star San once in solution). If a lower foaming alternative is preferred, for bottling or multiple batches, check out Saniclean.

Small but POWERFUL!
Yes, this is a small bottle. However, you can still get a ton of amazing sanitizing magic out of it. It will make gallons and gallons of sanitizer for all your brewing needs. It's also just a good way to try the product out before committing to it. After seeing how well it works, I am definitely going for the bigger size next time!

popular for a reason!
I'm new to home brewing with around 15 batches or so. I've used "star san" on every one of them and haven't had any issues with infections in my beer...

I use it after cleaning my equipment, before and after brew day! It sanitizes everything for me before it gets put away and before I put it back into use. It's an awesome, must have product for your brewing rituals!

Acid
4 oz of pure Acid. I can't believe these guys can sell this stuff. I don't judge, I mean, we all experimented back in the 80/90's right? C'mon kids, Acid kills and this stuff is acid, which kills; a perfect treatment for those pesky bacteria and wild yeast that run a muck all over your shiny stainless gear. They say don't fear the foam, because this stuff will make the brew day look like an episode of Lawrence Welk, but it's ok nobody's judging you.

Travel Size?
You'll save money over time if you buy the larger size (32oz for $16). I did buy this on my first order and yes you can still make gallons and gallons of sanitizer - but if you're brewing, save and get the bigger size.

Excellent Sanitizer
This is the best sanitizer out there in my view. It foams a bit but gets in where others don't and in much less time. It does not have a flavor and it doesn't carry on flavor or staining problems where others do. (i.e. iodine) It will get a milky film on tygon with long contact time but that can be rinsed off with hot water.
