Description

Comes with a 3/16" nipple, back nut, and plastic collar. It requires a 1" hole for installation. When set in place, the shank will only have about 1 7/8" of length to pass through your wall or fridge door, due to the length of the collar and back nut.

Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

Does the interrap spring work with this shank? So the intertap faucet automatically shuts off?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Intertap spring worked for me to automatically close my (non-flow control) Intertap faucet mounted on this shank. The spring provides much more resistance to operating the faucet, so a sturdy mount and long handle are healpful.
Does this come with tailpiece gasket and is the tailpiece also stainless? Thanks.

Anybody know of a good way to adapt this for EVA tubing? I guess EVA does not attach well to the tail piece barb.

Perfect fit for the collar on my keezer
I used a 15/16” drill bit. Faucet shank easily fit with room for adjustments if needed. I wish it came with an elbow tailpiece though; makes it easier and cleaner to route the liquid lines.
