Description

No more shaking or rocking your fermenter! Let us do the heavy lifting with this is great, inexpensive way to aerate your wort!

Increase dissolved oxygen in your wort without having to lift and shake a heavy fermenter. Fanning out the wort as it flows over the aerator increases surface area and allows for dramatically increased oxygen absorption. Attach this aerator/diffuser to the end of your transfer tubing when filling your fermenter.

Fits 3/8" tubing.

Wondering what size tubing would I need. Hoping my current 1/2 id silicone works?
Ben Sawyers on Oct 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Ben - Our website shows 3/8", but you should be able to push it onto 1/2".
What type of plastic is this made of?
Matthew on Sep 6, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Looks like polycarbonate but I'm not sure. I use it for sparge water distribution and for wort aeration.

Excellent aerator!
Best (simple) solution I've found for aerating wort. Now just need a stainless version and it'll be perfect!

Sparge long and sparge slowly
I bought 2 of these (1 for a spare) and made my own sparge system with PVC tubing and a cross pipe in order to make a 3 vessel system. My first batch since yielded a specific gravity of 1.058 when the recipe called for a 1.050 !! A step in the right direction....EFFICIENCY. Drain your grain not your brain, make better beer !

Perfect for sparging.
Used in my BrewZilla - trimmed the recirculation tubing and installed so it sprays directly on top of the mash.

Works really well and have seen efficiency improvements because of this.

It works
This works as advertised. I had some difficulty attaching it to the tubing. I managed a work around.

Many uses - love this thing
How I use this with my Robobrew with a circulating pump...
•short hose over grain bed when cooking grains the pump circulates and this spreads the flow
•after the boil long hose to drop into the middle of my copper coil cooler so the hot wort is pushed 360 degrees into the copper coils to accelerate cooling
•after the wort 80F I raise the tube above the wort surface to allow splash for oxygenation of the wort

Has a nice spray
I bought this on a whim to help aerate some wort that I made using a kit. I simply placed it on the end of the tube for the siphon and then used a continuous pumping to transfer the wort. It did a great job spraying the wort inside the carboy and aerated the wort nicely.
