Already have one of these. Use it so much and have become so dependent on it that I am buying another just in case the one I have starts to fail.

Do you have a pumping curve (head verses flow) for this pump?
David Lancaster on Feb 15, 2020
BEST ANSWER: David - Please follow link https://www.enoitalia.net/en/download/enos-20-curve-flow/
I have a problem with my pump. It does not seem to be self-priming. I did reduce the intake hose from 1" to 1/2" at the barrel to use our SS piping sections and it would not draw the wine out of the barrel. Even when we primed it the flow was very slow. Any thoughts?
Stephen Killian on Nov 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Choking the flow back could be the issue here. The flow of a 1/2" tube is 1/4 that of the 1" tube. Usually when the pump is dealing with this it will emit a high pitch screech-type sound and you will see air pockets and bubbles in the 'out' side. Priming it manually will help to an extent like you've found, and those may be the best results we can hope for without increasing the size of the barrel cane.
