Description

If you want to jump into all grain brewing right from your first batch, or as an upgrade from malt extract brewing, the Robobrew is a complete turn key solution. The Robobrew is an all-in-one electric brewery that has built in elements for heating and boiling, a built in pump for recirculation, an onboard water resistant control panel for setting and monitoring temperatures, a removable grain basket, and a built in spigot for transfering. It is extremely portable and uses 110v power so it can be used nearly anywhere.

The built in magnetic drive pump easily recirculates the wort during the mash. We recommend getting some silicone tubing to go with the recirculation arm. This allows you more control over the recirculation and you can then use the same tubing to transfer your wort to your fermenter.

Dual heating elements run off of a single 110 volt plug and have individual switches allowing for more control over the heating process. One element is 1000 watts and the other is 500 for a combined 1500 watts! Use both when you need to ramp up the temperature quickly either at the start to get to your mash temp or to go from your mash temp to boiling. Use only one of the elements when you want to hold a temperature.

The digital control panel makes it easy to see the current temperature and set the temperature you want. You can also set a delayed start of up to 23 hours in advance so that you can have your water hot and ready to go when you get home from work or get up in the morning. The digital controller is also water resistant so don't worry about spills or some water dripping down the side. This controller is built for brewing!

The brewery also includes a stainless steel malt pipe with false bottom allowing you to easily shift from mash tun to boil kettle during your brew day. The malt pipe includes a handle to lift it from the RoboBrew and tabs at the base so you can set the malt pipe over the RoboBrew to let the wort drain out. It also has feet at its base to raise the malt pipe slightly off the base and help prevent clogging.

The included stainless wort chillers is shipped with bare ends so you can set it up for your situation. We list below the most common tubing and fittings to connect to a hose, hose bib, or faucet.

What MoreBeer! loves about this product: Homebrewing is trending in the direction of all-in-one, all-grain brewing systems and the Robobrew is the ultimate value. The cost is half of the next comparable system and nearly the same as buying converted coolers and a kettle. We've brewed on all the systems and we can truly say the Robobrew is the easiest to use. We feel confident that a lot of first time brewers could buy this and use it with ease. At the same time quite a few of our experienced, all-grain brewing staff are buying it to brew at home. The unit is extremely compact because the pump is built-in to the bottom of the unit. You can move it around with ease which makes it perfect for guys and gals that have space constraints. Someone on the team also mentioned how they like that you can drain it via gravity without having to use the pump. We would choose the model with the pump because the pump portion is really easy to use, probably increases efficiency, and eliminates temperature differences in the mash. All in all a great buy and highly recommended. Please note you will need a few extra pieces of hardware to connect the wort chiller and 2' of silicone tubing for the sparge.

Note: The manual references an element for a different market.  This unit comes with two heating elements for a total of 1,500 watts.

I've been patiently waiting 6 months for this V3 Robobrew. It looks well-engineered, and I like how the pump and display are internalized into the base. Looking forward to using it at home (and indoors).

How does it keep the trub out of the drain?
Kenneth Ackerson on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There's a removeable screen/false bottom that you put in first before the grain basket that keeps everything out of the drain as well as the recirculation pump. Very easy to clean at the end of brewing as well.

Great Product for the price
I have had this thing since the first run of the Gen3 systems came out. I have put around 10 brews through the system, and there are some minor problems such as the lift bar for the malt pipe being a tad too large so you can end up denting the robobrew pushing it in. I have not yet had the elements fail, or the control board have issues, but these do happen, the QC seems to be pretty bad. If you are thinking "I'll just save up for a Grainfather" as far as I can tell they have just as many issues, but are less likely to repair the system or replace it. So for the price, this has been an great system for me.

I absolutely love my robobrew!
I have only brewed one batch in the robobrew so far but I am extremely pleased. It takes a while to heat the water with the 110V elements but that's no big deal. The ease of use and and clean up is phenomenal. And as for clarity, the multiple screens leave nothing but wort in for the boil. I suggest using a cheesecloth bag for hop addition to keep it out of the recirculation pump. I am a big fan and have been telling everyone about it.
I also added a little insulation to help maintain the temperature.

. The pump quit in the middle of my second brew. Had to return it and still waiting for my refund. You did not have another in stock.

It works, it's not great.
Morebeer has been great about sending me replacement parts. That being said, the upper malt pipe came broken in the Robobrew box. The 1000W + 500W heating elements barely get to a boil at my altitude (4700 ft) and it takes a full hour to get to the poor boil from mash temp.I have to play with the 1000W element switch to get it to turn on. It makes beer, it doesn't do it well. I don't know if the Grainfather works any better than the Robobrew so I can't say save up for the GF. I think this is a novelty item, I'm going back to by gas burning BIAB system.

Got the RB v3 as an additional system in my home brewery. I also brew on a tippy dump system. Bottom line: performs as designed and advertised. You won’t go wrong
