Description

The wort chiller that is included with the BrewZilla comes with bare ends and no tubing. This simple kit has everything you'll need to use the wort chiller right out of the box. Includes 2x 10-foot lengths of 1/2" ID vinyl tubing, female garden hose adapter with 1/2" barb, and 3 hose clamps to secure your connections.

Do you just slide the tubing over the wort chiller? It doesn’t seem to fit and there were no additional hookups with the connection kit. Am I missing something? How should it connect to the chiller?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the tubing will fit over the outside of the chiller ends. I find that it is easier to get the tubing on after warming the end with some hot water to make it more pliable. The kit didn’t come with hose clamps, but I use clamps on mine just to make sure there are no leaks and the tubing stays secure during the chilling process. Happy brewing!

Works well but hose clamps were too small and defective
The vinyl hose held up well to high temperature water during knock-out. The kit included 4 very nice looking thumbscrew hose clamps, but they were too small for the hose, and when I tried to back them out they fell apart because they weren't manufactured correctly. MoreBeer promptly sent a replacement kit, so kudos for that, but it remains to be seen if the replacement clamps are defective as well.

Don't waste your money
I used it twice and the hot side gets soft and collapses on itself when you start your cooling. For about the same price you can buy high temp tubing and hose clamps and make a better kit yourself.

BrewZilla chiller kit is easy to hook up
I got the 35L brewZilla with pump it is the 120V 3.1.1 version. When I ordered it I got the code to get a free cooling hook up kit. The hose clamps are kinda small but work fine. All I can say is I love the kit and the brewZilla. Well worth the money.
