The 65L/17.1G 220V BrewZilla is the ultimate all-in-one system for homebrewers seeking more volume, power, precision, convenience, and the gold standard in brewing, repeatability!

  • 17.1 gallon total capacity with a finished beer output of 10-12 gallons
  • 220V power to ramp up temperatures faster and provide a more vigorous boil.
  • Digital controller capable of programmed mash steps, boil addition timers and delayed start
  • Built-in pump for constant recirculation during mash or whirlpooling
  • Wort chiller included!

We've seen a lot of all-in-one systems over the years, but none are as feature-packed and affordable as the BrewZilla. While other units simply maintain your set temperature, the BrewZilla features a sophisticated digital controller which can be programmed with a full mash schedule, executing each step automatically. The built-in pump will continuously recirculate wort during the mash for more even heat distribution and higher efficiency, but thanks to the integrated camlock fitting, it has even more functionality. Add the optional whirlpool arm to make your late hop additions pop and speed up chilling time, or connect a camlock fitting and tubing to transfer wort to your fermenter. These are just a couple of reasons why MoreBeer! loves the BrewZilla, but there are so many More!

Our Top 10 Favorite Features:

  1. Sophisticated digital controller capable of programmed mash steps, boil addition timers and delayed start
  2. Built-in pump for constant recirculation during mash or whirlpooling and transferring with optional accessories
  3. Full depth malt pipe for higher mash efficiency and capable of running small batches without a pricey adapter
  4. Multiple power modes to cover each step of the brew day – low power to gently heat your mash up to full power for a rolling boil
  5. Wort chiller included! Perfectly sized for this system and adds even more value to your purchase of the BrewZilla
  6. High capacity brewhouse – with a volume of over 17 gallons, you can fit more grain and more wort to make MoreBeer!
  7. Single wall design doesn't trap in heat – chill your wort quickly after the boil!
  8. Super convenient bottom handle makes lifting/pouring a breeze
  9. Rubber feet keep the boiler lifted off the ground and safely above any spills that may occur
  10. Affordable! This is the best price for an all-in-one brewing system you'll find, period.

Are you looking for an awesome, easy-to-use, single vessel system to brew 10-gallon batches?  The BrewZilla features built-in elements for heating and boiling, programmable mash schedule and delayed start, a built-in pump for recirculation, an onboard water-resistant control panel for setting and monitoring temperatures, a removable grain basket, and a built-in spigot for transferring. The compact design makes this unit easy to store when not in use.  Not brewing 10-gallon batches every brew day? No problem! The BrewZilla works just as well for 5-gallon batches, and with so much power, you'll get your temperatures up even faster.

The V3.1.1 unit features an upgraded main circuit board that changes how the automatic step mashing functions. Now when moving from step to step, the timer for each step will not begin counting down until the programmed temperature is reached. This means more accurate mash schedules than ever before! The new board also introduces boil addition timers so you'll never miss the mark for hop additions.

To get the Wort Chiller Connection Kit for free, add the item to your cart along with the BrewZilla and use code ZILLAKIT at checkout.

New accessory! Check out the BrewZilla Whirlpool Arm, which uses the unit's internal pump to recirculate and spin the wort, improving hop extraction and chill times. No more stirring!

Automatic Step Mashing!
One of the coolest features of the BrewZilla is the ability to program the unit with up to 6 individual temperatures and durations so you can step mash precisely how you desire. Simply press the "S1-S6" button to select the stage you want to adjust, and use the temp, time and +/- buttons to program the stage. If you have less than 6 stages in your mash schedule, program the stages you want to skip with 00:00 as the time and the controller will automatically move on to the next step. When all the stages are complete, the BrewZilla will sound an alarm and hold the last set temperature.

The programmable stages can also be used to set a delayed start of up to 23 hours in advance so that you can have your water hot and ready to go when you get home from work or wake up in the morning. In order to do this, fill the unit with strike water and program the controller with two steps. Step 1 should be programmed at a temperature lower than the unheated strike water (so the elements will remain off), and the duration should be programmed for however long you want the delay. Then program Step 2 with your desired strike water temperature and a duration of 1-2 hours, giving the BrewZilla ample time to heat up and giving you a margin of error in case you hit the snooze button the morning of brew day.

Recirculating Mash with Full Depth Malt Pipe
The built-in magnetic drive pump easily recirculates wort during the mash. We recommend getting some silicone tubing to go with the recirculation arm. This allows you more control over the recirculation and you can then use the pump to transfer your wort to your fermenter. As with any mash, be sure to stir your grain very thoroughly after mashing-in so you start out with an even temperature throughout the grain bed.

Some competing models advertise their perforated malt pipes as "high flow", but what they don't mention is how this affects efficiency. When recirculating the mash, wort will escape through the side perforations rather than passing through the grain at the bottom-most end of the malt pipe which can lead to lower efficiency. The BrewZilla's malt pipe is designed so that recirculating wort must pass through the entire grain bed before escaping through the false bottom and being pumped over the top of the grain bed again. If you're worried about the flow rate, simply add a pound or two of rice hulls to your grain bill. This is especially recommended when brewing with a high level of wheat, oat, or flaked grains.

Power & Heating Control
This very capable 15amp brewery has over 3 kilowatts of power so you can get up to boil in no time. 220V outlet required! The BrewZilla has been made with ultra-low watt density elements, which means less caramelization and also makes this unit capable of producing very light beers with very little maillard effect. This is also particularly useful for high gravity beers that can get some degree of scorching in other electric breweries with higher watt density.

Triple heating elements run off of a single 220 volt plug and have individual switches allowing for more control over the heating process. The elements are 2000, 1000 and 500 watts for a combined 3500 watts! Use all three elements when you need to ramp up the temperature quickly, either to quickly get to your mash temp or to rapidly go from your mash temp to boiling. Use only one of the elements when you want to hold a desired temperature.

We highly recommend adding the optional BrewZilla Neoprene Jacket to help reduce heating times and maintain a more vigorous boil. The extra thick neoprene jacket is custom designed to insulate the entire kettle portion of the BrewZilla while staying out of the way of the ball valve and handles. The jacket can help you acheive up to 10% faster heat up times and cut heat loss from the boiler in half.

Built-in magnetic drive pump to easily recirculate the wort during the mash.

The digital control panel makes it easy to see the current temperature and set the temperature you want. You can also set a delayed start of up to 23 hours in advance so that you can have your water hot and ready to go when you get home from work or get up in the morning. The digital controller is also water resistant so don't worry about spills or some water dripping down the side. This controller is built for brewing!

The brewery also includes a stainless steel malt pipe with false bottom allowing you to easily shift from mash tun to boil kettle during your brew day. The malt pipe includes a handle to lift it from the BrewZilla and tabs at the base so you can set the malt pipe over the system to let the wort drain out. It also has feet at its base to raise the malt pipe slightly off the base and help prevent clogging.

The included stainless wort chiller is shipped with bare ends so you can set it up for your situation. We list below the most common tubing and fittings to connect to a hose, hose bib, or faucet.

What MoreBeer! loves about this product: Homebrewing is trending in the direction of all-in-one, all-grain brewing systems, but there are few options when it comes to brewing 10-gallon batches. The BrewZilla not only allows for 10-gallon batches, but the cost is half of the next comparable system. We've brewed on all the systems and we can truly say the BrewZilla series is the easiest to use. We feel confident that a lot of first-time brewers could buy this and use it with ease. At the same time, quite a few of our experienced, all-grain brewing staff are buying these units to brew at home. The BrewZilla is considerably compact for a 10-gallon system because the pump is built-in at the bottom of the unit. When not in use, the system can be packed up into a box that is 24" x 24" x 34" tall and moved around with ease, which makes it perfect for guys and gals that have space constraints. All in all a great buy and highly recommended. Please note you will need a few extra pieces of hardware to connect the wort chiller and at least 2' of silicone tubing for the sparge arm.

Use the Pump for More Than Just Recirculation!
One of the surprisingly handy features of the BrewZilla is that the recirculation pipe features a female camlock. This allows you to hook up other accessories and use the unit's pump for more than just recirculating wort. With a male camlock and silicone tubing, for example, you can use the internal pump to push wort through a plate chiller or counterflow chiller. Check out our selection of camlock fittings here.

What is the max grain bill?
Jason White on Feb 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: About 16 kg (35 lbs) according to page 9 of the instruction manual
What type of 220V connector does the unit come with?
Du Tran on Jan 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The connector is a NEMA 6-30r
How long is the electrical cord on the unit?
Will Amaya on May 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Approximately 4 feet
Can you use this to convert to the proper plug? 14-30P Male 4-Pin Dryer Plug To 6-30R Female 3-Prong Receptacle Outlet Box NEMA Power Cord Adapter/Converter
Brian Herbert on Mar 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is possible to adapt or swap out the plugs or receptacles so that they all match. All of these 220v cords have 3 wires and as long as the hot wires and ground are attached to the correct poles (usually labeled X, Y, and G) then you will have no problem making the swap.
What is the max diameter for a better wort chiller the one that is included isn't very good?
David DePaoli on Jan 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure of the net inside diameter of the vessel, but I've been pretty satisfied with the chiller provided. Two issues I've found and how I dealt with them: (1) it's stainless and not copper, so the heat transfer isn't as good. But, I think this is well countered by creating a whirlpool chiller using the recirculating arm. The built in pump creates plenty of flow to create good movement around the chiller. (2) The in/out bends on the stainless steel make the chiller sit pretty high in the kettle. If you're making 5gal batches (instead of the full 10), only about half of the chiller is in the wort. That's an easy fix, I cut off the bends and added the tubing and claims directly to the new upright ends. Now it sits on the false bottom and the coils barely poke out the top of the wort on 5 gal batches. Works great. Just my thoughts on how to improve performance with the chiller I already paid for.
What size GFCI breaker is required for the brewzilla? Will 30amp suffice in turning all 3 elements on?

Does anyone know what type of 2 pole breaker is needed for Brewzilla 65L?
How many amps per pole are needed?
What gauge wire does the outlet require?
Basically, Im looking for the specific electric requirements for use in the USA? You'd think it would come with that specific info, but I couldn't find it anywhere in the package

Could you use 2 of Morebeers Hop Spiders at the same time on this system?
Jason Rister on Apr 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The kettle is absolutely wide enough for the hanging basket style hop spiders. As another answer said there will not be enough space for both spiders and an immersion chiller during a whirlpool.
Has anyone tried 5gal batches on this? Wondering if you could make it work for a full volume mash and not sparge.
David Epley on Aug 7, 2023
BEST ANSWER: It will do any 5 gal batch with ease. I typically do 10 gallon batches if the grain bill is not too high. I have done as much as 27 lbs, but 22 or 24 is easier, so if I go over 25, i will do a split mash by taking out 6 to 10lbs of primary malt and mashing it and sparging with just a gallon of water, followed by another mash of the main grain bill. Creates a extra step but still allows for doing 10 gallons every time as I hit for 12 gallons in the boil which is easy for this unit. If you are doing a high gravity like a barley wine then keep it at 5 gallon batch only.
Is it possible to use a counter flow chiller with this system?
David Ragsdale on Feb 25, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can. You would need to get hose and hardware to connect to the vertical pump hose (camlock). That would feed the wort into the counterflow chiller and then it you would run another tube/hose from the output back into the top of the brewzilla for recirc. Separately, you would run your cold water threw the cf chiller.
New 220V 65L Brewzilla owner here. Does anyone know if you can plug it in with an adapter to a 50amp outlet? Any direction or resource regarding this would be appreciated.
Ryan Fitzpatrick on Jul 17, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Ryan, From an electrical aspect, are you replacing the 50A breaker with a smaller breaker that is GFCI protected? To be safe, the breaker feeding the Brewzilla is required to be GFCI protected as your dealing with water and electricity at the same time.. If your just removing the breaker and reusing the old wire run, it might be cheaper to replace the 50A outlet, then to buy a plug adapter. It’s just one less thing in the system to fail. I recommend you do not plug this into a 50A 220v outlet.

What is the minimum grain bill?
Kevin Sinarle on Jan 22, 2022
BEST ANSWER: I’m not sure what would be the absolute minimum grain bill, but I have been using the Brewzilla 65L to make 5 gallon batches. I’ve also made some 10 gallon batches, but even for a smaller volume this unit heats faster, provides a stronger boil that the smaller robo brew version which I also own. The grain bill I use for a 5 gallon batch is in the 9 to 12 Lb range depending on the type of beer I’m making.
Does this come with a warranty? In the manual it only says if bought in Australia
Corey on Feb 12, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hello Corey, MoreBeer honors the one year warranty if purchased through us.
What's the +/- temperature range during mashing? For instance, my Mash and Boil has a -5/+2 deviation. It will drop 5 degrees before it starts back heating. So a 150F mash will go down to 145F before it starts back heading, and will rise to 152F after it hits 150F again. I also have to set the boil temp to 218F, otherwise it will shut off at 212, drop down to 207, before it starts back heating.
Gary Haygood on Jul 25, 2023
BEST ANSWER: I don't know exactly, but I believe that when the temp strays further than 2°F the elements kick on - which then stop when they hit the set temp. However, the momentum of the heating often will take the temp above the set temp. By how much depends on which which elements you have on during heating.
What is the minimum grain bill for the 65l/17 gallon robobrew?
Jason Borthwick on Mar 19, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jason - the 65L BrewZilla doesn't necessarily have a minimum recommended grain bill. However, the minimum volume of liquid that the unit should used with is 10 liters or 2.6 gallons.
The cord sounds a bit short for where I’d have it. Is an extension cord okay for this or is that a no-no (assuming I know not to trip over it)?
HockeyHomeBrew on Aug 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes! I have an extension cord made to specs of the power cord going to an outlet.
Will this work with 208V?
Bradley M on Jul 31, 2023
BEST ANSWER: 208V is 3 phase, if that is what you are talking about then the answer is no.
What is the warranty & are the electric elements replaceable should they fail in the future?

What is the minimum batch size recommended for this set up? Would it be safe to do 6 gal batches in?
Coy Patrick on Apr 8, 2019

Learning curve but loving it
Coming after 15yrs on a propane 3 vessel system, there is a learning curve. Batch #2 went way smoother than batch 1. Would highly recommend overall. Love the quiet nature of electric and being able to set the temperature for strike water and not over shoot.
The first glass lid broke while putting away after first batch. It looked like the center hole cut had introduced a stress point. More Beer replaced for free! I added a 1.5” grommet from Amazon I think this will protect second lid.

Brewzilla 65 L good investment
This is a good system. I've been all grain brewing for about 10 years using a cooler and batch sparging. The time and convenience of the type of system is well worth the investment. My only complaint is that I had to adjust my grain crush and make is courser to keep it out of my boil and make draining the grain tube easier. That being said, I will easily choose a little less efficiency for the time and convenience factor.

What can I say that hasn't been said already?
Not perfect, but close to it. My only nit is that you cant use the whirlpool arm or the chiller with the lid on.
Pro Tip - get rid of the overflow pipe and plug the hole with a stainless pipe plug.
Pro Tip #2 - Ditch the top mash screen. It settles during the mash, and can compact the grain bed and cause a stuck mash. Once I figured that out I got a beautiful mash without using rice hulls. In all fairness, I'm crushing with an 8-inch roller mill, so the grind is near perfect. That's hard to do with a baby mill.

Just ordered and looking forward
Started brewing back in 2000 and quickly went from extract to all grain, with a home made cooler system and then bought a More Beer tippy dump system 1550 in 2004. That system has been modified and upgraded a couple of times and looking forward to the electrical plunge...sort of speak, as plunge would be dangerous around that system. Will update once it is here and used.

Brewzilla 65L - Post first brew review
I had a couple of issues with my first brew. Recirculation pump stalled a few times and had to blow back to get it freed up. Also the shut off valve failed on first brew the seal on one side slipped and couldn't open or fully close pump valve. I replaced it with a good stainless ball valve that i had from my previous system.
There was also a a lot more grain in the boil after mash out than i would like to see. I will have to try using more rice hulls or put the second screen in bottom of mashtun tube next time. Any ideas on this would be helpful, just don't want to end up with a clogged system when it's time for mashout.
Overall i liked the system and expect my next brew to be a little smoother.

I had been brewing with a mash and boil. I could only do 2.5 gallon batches of big beers. Gone is my external pump, I love the whirlpool arm. Power? I have the Power! Ramp up from 170 to boil in 20 minutes or less. My brew day time has been cut in half.
