What is the diameter of the screen?

BEST ANSWER: The diameter of the false bottom screen is a hair over 11.5". I purchased the screen to use in my Grainfather as an additional false bottom. I was disappointed. Since the screen is a bit smaller in diameter then the Grainfather, during the mashing process, grain fell through the screen and scorched on the Grainfather base.
If a silicone seal was developed to seal around the screen, it would be great. But I with not use it again.

Fits Grainfather G30
I ordered this on 6/21/22.

It is about an 1/8" smaller in diameter than my G30.
I tried to use one of the malt pipe gaskets (which needed to be stretched quite a bit) but then it would not fit in the G30.
A thinner gasket might work but I'm not sure where to find one.

This screen in combination with the G30's standard pump filter kept my pump from cogging and also enabled me to get more wort into my fermenter.

It would be nice if it was made from a little thicker metal but seems like it should hold up for a while anyway.

Doesn't fit my Grainfather
I don't know if it's fair to rate a product for off-label use, but like many other customers, I purchased this for use with my Grainfather (an older version GF, purchased in 2018 from LHBS). It will not fit without modification. The diameter of the screen I received is nearly 11 and 3/4 inches. The reviews posted regarding Grainfather use seem to be about 50/50, but if my experience is typical in 2022, then don't bother unless you are ready to do some metal work

Must for Grainfather
Once I used this below my basket in the Grainfather, I was amazed how much it captured. No more slowing down the pump---this false bottom stops a lot of debris from getting to the pump.

Making it work for Grainfather G30
I bought this screen for a false bottom for the Grainfather G30. There were a few modifications needed to make it work. The diameter is about 1/8" too big. I used a grinder to remove 1/16" all the way around the edge. I then used a file to remove burrs and smooth the edge and prevent scratching the GF. It fit perfectly. Next the round loop "handle" in the center was too tall and hit the base of the grain basket. I removed the loop and used a vise to compress it into a low profile "T" shape and reattached it to the screen. The legs on the screen are just a bit short, so the screen rests on top of the GF cylindrical filter, but I didn't worry about it since it was nearly level and fitting well with the walls of the GF. If it becomes an issue, the legs could be slightly lengthened by bending them int a slight "V" shape.

I brewed one test batch, omitting the use of a hop spider. I noticed less scorching than usual on the burner, very little build-up of trub on the GF cylidrical filter, and good pump flow rate. The screen did it's job well. I also noted a reduction in my trub loss, likely due to the GF cylindrical filter staying clean. Better brew house efficiency and more beer!

Does NOT fit in the Grainfather G30!
They have changed this product. It no longer fits in the bottom of the Grainfather G30. It does NOT look like the photo!

Do you have a lathe? Or three hours to spare and a love for filing steel? If not, don't get this for your Grainfather.

Works on the Anvil Foundry 10.5 gal, but it is a tight fit.
I bought this screen to use as a false bottom on the Anvil Foundry 10.5 gal all in one. The screen is a tight fit and I had to curve it slightly to get it in. Overall happy with the way it works and now I can do a BIAB on the Anvil Foundry without
the malt pipe.
