I am having trouble removing the bottom valve and hose assembly from the bottom of the shaft. I have heated it with a torch and no dice. It is locked on. Anyone else figure this out?
Niels Jensen on May 30, 2023
BEST ANSWER: They use thread lock. You are doing the right thing by heating it. I used a pipe that fit over the pipe wrench for leverage.
Are there instructions for replacing the bladder on the Speidel GER 104?
O. Meredith Erickson on Sep 8, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It's a fairly tricky process. We don't have any instructions for it. It's a fairly simple replacement as far as which pieces go where; while you're taking it apart it will make sense. There are a few plates with grooves in them to fit some ridges on the bladder. So just make sure you get those grooves set properly and replace all the pieces in the order they came off. In the few that I've replaced only one of them gave me real trouble where I had to try more than once to get it fixed. Good luck. Cheers!
